Welcome Back!

My mom and older brother Riley arrived back in Minnesota on Wednesday, Feb. 23 after being in Guatemala City, Guatemala for a week!  They brought back lots of things including a beautiful bead ring for me from Riley and a pair of pretty hoop earrings with real jade from my mom!  I am very thankful that they arrived home safely and on tim because on their way to the airport in Guatemala their bus broke down and they had to pile 26 people into a school bus with all the school kids, and the guys had to pile into a luggage truck piled high with luggage!  They almost didnt make it to the airport in time!  The next plane that was leaving after theirs was leaving in March!  It would have taken a really long time to get everyone flights home!  They had a great time at Casa Shalom Orphanage helping out, they dug an 18 in trench all the way up the mountain, plant an orchard, and butchered chickens! sick :(

uuuggghhh!! being sick is not very fun.  Well, having my brother and dad wait on me  and watching movies all day is fun :) , but not the horrible headache and fever :(

Guatemala!

My mom and older brother are leaving tomorrow at 3:00 am for the airport, then at about 5:30 am they are going to be getting on a plane headed for Georgia, then onto another plane headed for Guatemala City, Guatemala!  Then its up a mountain to an orphanage called Casa Shalom, to stay the week helping out there.  One of the days they are going to be going to feed the street children their one meal for the day that most of them walk miles to get!!!
 
Please pray for them and the rest of the missions team's safety, health, and strength.  Pray for the children too.  Please pray that the missions team will give hope to all the orphans.  :)

This is a school mission trip so 38 seventh and eighth graders, and some chaperones will be going, while the rest of the students stay and do local missions.  Please pray for the local missions team as well.

YYYYAAAAAYYYY!!!!

Yahoo!!! the second to last performance went sooooo AWESOME!!!! Lilli if ur reading this im sooo proud of u!!! u did soooo awesome on our scene!!! u didnt skip any lines or mess up at all!!! NICE JOB!!!!

Fun!

Last night i went to see the blue cast's performance!  It was really fun.  There were people from our cast there that we hung out with.  At intermission we were the first people out in the lobby so we didnt have to wait in line for cookies and chocolate :) !  At the end we beat the actors at getting into the lobby first (because after the performance the actors go out and greet people)!  It was soo fun!

Woohoo!!! Talent show went totally awesome thanks to all the people who were there and great job to the people in it!!!  I'm very glad and relieved that i didn't mess up too much on my song. :)  Had lots of fun!
